Some information about the appraisal (2022 Intel Cup ESDC)

2022 Intel Cup ESDC appraisal will be held online via Tencent Meeting.

      1.Schedule

    August 8                   First round Appraisal (All teams attend)

   

    August 9                   Second round Appraisal (Second round appraisal list will be announced in the evening of August 8)

 

    August 10                  Appraisal results announcement      

     

There are two rounds of appraisal. For the international teams, the first round will be held on August 8 when all teams are required to attend it. The second round will be held on August 9. The list of the teams who can attend the second round appraisal will be released in the evening of August 8.

       2.Appraisal process

Each team has about half an hour to show their project, including presentation, demo, and answering experts’ questions.

  

Please take the personal ID card or passport, which will be examined before team’s testing.

 

The first round of appraisal, on August 8, will be held in two groups at the same time.

Competitors in Arizona State University and Federal University of Pernambuco should access to the arranged Tencent Meeting at 8:00 AM (GMT+8). Group A and B will get different meeting NO. &PWD. When enter the meeting, please restore your work function, adjust the camera to suitable view, and prepare for the appraisal, which will be start at 8:30 AM.

 

Competitors in Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar and National University of Singapore should access to the arranged Tencent Meeting at 13:00 (GMT+8). Group A and B will get different meeting NO. &PWD. When enter the meeting, please restore your work function, adjust the camera to suitable view, and prepare for the appraisal, which will be start at 13:30.

 

Competitors in City University of Hong Kong will be the second of the afternoon appraisal. Please enter Tencent Meeting waiting room of Group A at 13:15 (GMT+8), restore your work function, adjust the camera to suitable view, and waiting for the first team to finish.

 

Each team has maximum half an hour to show their project, including presentation, demo, and answering experts’ questions.

-- The originality and specialty of the project idea.
-- The scale and complexity of the project.
-- The completeness of testing strategy and plan.
-- The quality and presentation of your reports. (This is the document used to win support from the public.)
-- Your presentation performance in the appraisal.
