Notice about Appraisal and Awarding Ceremony

Appraisal of 2014 Intel Cup Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest - Embedded System Design Invitational Contest will start in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Min Hang), Shanghai from July 16, 2014 to July 20, 2014, and the awarding ceremony will be held on July 22, 2014. The related arrangements are listed below:
Report and Introduction Submission
Each team should submit the brief introduction and full report before 24:00 July 1, 2014 (Beijing Time, UTC+ 8:00) online on contest website. And each team should send three hard copies to committee by express mail before July 2, 2014 (Beijing Time), while the working system should be brought to Shanghai, China for testing by participants.

Agenda
The appraisal period contains two rounds. All the teams will participate the first round appraisal (July 17 to July 19), the team list for the second round will be announced in the evening of July 19. Teams from overseas will be tested on July 19, and should arrive in Shanghai and register on July 18, 2014.
Each team has about half an hour to show their project, including presentation, demo, and answering experts’ questions.
Please take the personal ID card or passport, which will be examined before team’s testing.
The organization committee will only provide screwdriver, electronic solder iron, multimeter, network connection, and computer for presentation.
Registration
Participating teams from overseas should arrive in Shanghai and register on July 18, 2014.
The committee has booked some rooms in SJTU university hotel for overseas teams. The cost is about RMB400 per room per day (two beds in one room) including the breakfast. Also you can make your own reservation in other hotels. If you want to stay in our university hotel, pls. send the personal information, how many rooms needed, and check in and check out time to the committee. And all the expense should be cover by the teams.
