Appraisal of 2008 Intel Cup Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest - Embedded System Design Invitational Contest will start in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Min Hang), Shanghai from July 15, 2008 to July 23, 2008. The related arrangements are listed below:

Report and Introduction Submission

Participants need to submit both hard copy and soft copy of the report and introduction by July 1st, 2008. Two hard copies should be sent to organization committee by express mail, while the soft copy should be submitted via email. The attachment should be within 5MB.

Agenda

The appraisal period contains two rounds. All the teams will participate the first round appraisal (July 15th to July 20th), and based on that result, part of the teams will be selected for the second round. Teams from overseas will be tested in the morning of July 20, and should arrive in Shanghai and register on July 19th.

Each team has one hour to show their project, including 15 minutes’ presentation, demo, and answering experts’ questions.

Please take the personal ID card or passport, which will be examined before team’s testing.

The organization committee will only provide screwdriver, electronic solder iron, multimeter, network connection, and computer for presentation.

Registration

Participating teams should arrive in shanghai and register on July 19th at the hotel. The hotel information will be published later.

Please fill the attached receipt, and send it to the contact person before July 1st 2008. So the hotel can be arranged smoothly.

If participants need pick up at the airport, please inform the flight number in advance.

If participants have special food requirement such as vegetarian, please specify in the attached receipt.
